Westobou Festival

Savannah River Winds has been invited back for a third performance in the Westobou Festival. The performance will a Prism Concert featuring several small chamber groups scattered throughout the church on the lower level and in the balcony. Each ensemble will perform, giving the audience the experience of hearing those particular tone qualities and timbres outside of the full ensemble. After the last chamber ensemble has performed, they will all join on stage for a performance by the full ensemble. SRW will be expanding its venue this year with the addition of visual arts. The Columbia County Ballet, directed by Ron Jones, will be invited to perform with Savannah River Winds. Choreographer for this performance is Michael Viator. The performance is free to the public.
Veteran’s Day Concert

This concert is sponsored by the North Augusta Arts Council and is given in honor of our Veterans and those presently serving in the military.
South Carolina Music Educators Association Convention

Savannah River Winds has been invited by SCMEA to perform for the state music educators at their state music convention in Charleston, South Carolina. This will be SRW’s second appearance at the SCMEA convention.
Georgia Music Educators Association District Ten Clinic
Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 6:45 pm; West Acres Baptist Church, Evans, GA.
This concert is given annually by SRW for the honor band students and the general public. Special guest conductor will be composer/clinician Ralph Ford from Troy State University.
North Augusta Cultural Arts Council Summer Concert Series
